In conclusion, the statement stated that on behalf of Group Management the individual in question had been permanently banned from the group. After the former deputy prime ministers ban,

ANN Exclusive | Job Expo

Image
Written by Cheb & Funkyroo123 The Federal Treasurer, Excily, announced yet another job expo on Sunday the 10th of April. The expo gained considerable traction despite the short timeframe, with four private businesses and eight governmental departments registering. The private businesses registering are Gallo Italiano, IGAAG, Triple Arrow and Ausstats. However, ANN have received word that the owner of Triple Arrow, WilliamNative, has been kicked from the GC and may not attend. Departments with stalls are NSWPF, ADF, ASIO, RFS, NSWAS, Treasury, Foreign Affairs and the Australian News Network. ANN understands that the size of these stalls will be larger than previous expos, with departments getting big stalls and private businesses getting small stalls. Job expos have long been criticised as just a 'thing' for governments to do. The relative frequency of these job expos have been put under the public eye, questioning their effectiveness. Despite this, expos have had their su

ANN Exclusive | Transport Australia Lacking Support

Image
Written by Lawdoood For about a month now, we have seen a massive decrease of activity in Transport Australia. It's quite a shame that the service is inactive because it was starting to look promising for the wider Australia community. Due to the fact that the transport department seems to be lacking in activity and leadership, we reached out to the Director of the service to gain some insight. His statement is as follows, "With the new government coming in power, they have shown no support in the Dept of Transport. I couldn't even find their manifesto to see if they had plans or not. At the current time I am pulling things together and the department should back very soon without government support. However, for the department to thrive, it needs proper attention from the government. TA needs to evolve so it brings interest to more people, not just bus drivers, but to do this, we need a government that will actually allocate proper resources. The last government was a g

ANN Exclusive | AU Hits 7,000 Members

Image
Written by Sebbyfun AU has reached 7000 members.  The Byron Bay Roblox group (AU) has recently surpassed 7000 members. The group was able to achieve this great measure through a very expensive new round of Roblox ads that have cost the group many many Robux.  The new Roblox ads have helped grow the Byron bay community by hundreds with tons of new players and active people to keep the community going for the forseeable future.  Activity is crucial for a game like Byron which is a strict roleplay group that needs active members to keep the game playable and fun. Members have worked tirelessly for this game and it is great to see a rise in numbers so there can be more situations and roleplays for members to participate in. 7000 members is a great feat for any group and the AU Group has worked very hard for this number. All current members of the group should be proud of the progression of the Group from Sydney V1, to now Byron Bay and (in the making) Canberra.

ANN EXCLUSIVE | The Rapid Response Team, New South Wales Ambulance Service

Image
Written by funkyroo123 In a bid to improve their response times and increase efficiency, the New South Wales Ambulance Service (NSWAS) has announced that they will be introducing a fleet of new bikes to their emergency response arsenal. The bikes, which have been specifically designed for medical emergencies, are set to revolutionize the way the NSWAS operates. To learn more about this exciting development, we spoke to the NSWAS Commisioner. Here are some questions we asked and their responses: Q: Can you tell us a bit more about the new fleet of bikes and how they work? A: The new fleet of bikes is a game changer for the NSWAS. They are equipped with all the necessary medical equipment and supplies, including defibrillators, oxygen tanks, and medication. This means that our paramedics can respond quickly to medical emergencies, even in areas where it may be difficult to access with a traditional ambulance. The bikes are also equipped with lights and sirens, allowing them to move quick

ANN Exclusive | The Rural Fire Service

Image
Written by Lawdoood The Byron Bay Rural Fire Service is a volunteer-based firefighting service that operates in and around the Byron Bay region of Ro-New South Wales, Australia. The service is responsible for responding to fires and other emergencies in and around Byron Bay, and works closely with other emergency services such as the New South Wales Ambulance Service and New South Wales Police Force.  Recently the Byron Bay community have seen an incredible influx of fires in Byron and as a result of this, the Rural Fire Service has increased in activity. Earlier today we spoke with a member of the community asking them for their thoughts on the topic, one person responded, "Good" and another expressing their fear they have for the community "Ahh! I'm truly frightened by fire". A member of staff has also questioned a Rural Fire Service volunteer earlier today questioning them about what the RFS are doing to tackle these fires. The volunteer stated that applica

ANN Exclusive | In-game ANN Questionaire Results

Image
Written by RooZaIsBased The Australian News Network has conducted a Questionaire in Byron Bay over the past 2 days. The questionaire was an opportunity for in game players to have a voice of their opinion on AU politics. It has been able to give us a clear indication of what the playing base of the group believe in regards to group politics. The Questionaire consisted of 6 approval or voting intention questions, which were then recorded and formulated into statistical data by the ANN Statistics Department. Question 1, being "If an election happened today, who would you vote for?" was answered with a split vote. The 36.8% of responses labelled the LNP as their preferred party, whereas 31.6% labelled the Conservatives, only a 1 response different. 26.3% of people did not support any current party or were undecided and 5.3% said the ALP. This is one of the tightest polling results of the month, one which did not predict the LNP at massive high's and the conservatives at ma

ANN Exclusive | Mike_Ritter's Cabinet (2.0)

Image
Written by RooZaIsBased The Prime Minister has today met with the remainder of his cabinet to discuss the future of his government. As reported to the ANN, the meeting was a success, with the meeting resulting in a number of suggestions for the 2nd Cabinet of this government, and a decision on the next Deputy Prime Minister, who is likely to be sill_xz, as informed to the ANN. This is an important decision for the country, following the mass resignation of cabinet employee's including the Minister for Home Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Communications, Attorney General etc. The formation of this next cabinet is how the Prime Minister can re-affirm to the people of Australia that he can remain to govern a stable country. REMINDER: Make sure you head down to the ANN Building on Byron Bay to participate in an in-game questionaire, the first of its kind!

ANN Exclusive | The Return of Shire League

Image
Written by RooZaIsBased The Byron Bay Shire League is told to be coming back. This was announced by government at the press conference on thursday. This comes after a few months of light 'pestering' over its return, but no large campaign in its favour. Nevertheless, the shire league was an iconic part of the AU community and contributed greatly to the activity of the group, meaning its return is unlikely to be seen negatively by many.  In light of its supposed return, the ANN production crew spoke with some famous people from  the old Shire League. JoeTxcker, notable for his advocacy of sport in the roblox community described its return as 'good', when asked about it. YkItGac, another notable contestant described it as a fun new addition, and is optimistic to see how it goes. YkItGac however did express his concerns over finding good referee's and ensuring that the issue of lag did not become a problem, both of which were notably cited as the downfall of the origina

ANN EXCLUSIVE | Parliament sits extraordinarily & Conservatives reach 15 seat minority

Written by RooZaIsBased Despite the government not attending the most recent parliamentary session due to the 'easter break', the Clerk of the House of Representatives permitted the session to continue, with the LNP and Labor party utilising the opportunity to expel the Prime Minister and censure the Conservative Party. However, it is unlikely if either of these actually have effect, as it has been attempted previously to no prevail. No statement has been released by the Conservatives in regards to allowing this sitting to occur and the contents of the sitting. This sitting comes only a day after the Australian Unity Party was dissolved, with an additional 3 seats being given to the Conservative Party, bringing the (according to polls) unpopular governing party to 15 seats, or into minority government (15/30 seats). The Governor General has already denied the LNP's proposal for a Labor minority government, meaning the single party minority Mike_Ritter government will like

ANN EXCLUSIVE | The Conservative Government, Is this its downfall or will Mike_Ritter save it again?

Written by RooZaIsBased Whilst some predict this mass resignation to be the 'end of the Ritter government', many could easily speculate that this is indeed just one of the speed bumps this government may face to the fufilment of its term. As seen previously, Mike_Ritter has often found himself saving things even when others considered them unfixable.   Before we dive into this possibility, lets analyse what actually happened: The Attorney General, Solicitor General, Minister for Foreign Affairs & Trade, Minister for Home Affairs and the Minister for Communications all resigned,  The Treasurer also resigned, before retracting his resignation,  This comes after the New South Wales Courts summon the Prime Minister on x1 count of corruption. The resignation of large amounts of the cabinet primarily puts into focus the possibility that the Unity Party could be withdrawing from the coalition, leaving the Conservatives on 12 seats and a questionable confidence and supply deal wi

ANN EXCLUSIVE | The Reliability Of Polling

Written by RooZaIsBased Australian News Network Director Over the past week, multiple media outlets have published their 'polls' in regards to a number of issues including approval ratings and voting intentions. Polls have a record of being incorrect, but how incorrect can they be in AU?  Lets first analyse the inconsistency of polling in AU. A poll conducted by Ausstats and Smith News were realeased on the same day. One had a polling sample of 41 whilst the other had a polling sample of 36. Despite being published simultaneously and having close voting samples, the two polls came back with significantly different results: Ausstats (41 Voters) (Compared to General Election) LNP: 46.34% (+9.04%) (14 Seats Projected) CONS: 34.14% (-6.26%) (10 Seats Projected) ALP: 4.88% (-7.52%) (2 Seat Projected) AUP: 14.63% (+4.73%) (4 Seats Projected) Analysis: Ausstats continues to provide diversified results in regards to their professional polling. This poll shows a, whilst possibly innac
