ANN Exclusive | The Return of Shire League

The Byron Bay Shire League is told to be coming back. This was announced by government at the press conference on thursday. This comes after a few months of light 'pestering' over its return, but no large campaign in its favour. Nevertheless, the shire league was an iconic part of the AU community and contributed greatly to the activity of the group, meaning its return is unlikely to be seen negatively by many. 

In light of its supposed return, the ANN production crew spoke with some famous people from  the old Shire League.

JoeTxcker, notable for his advocacy of sport in the roblox community described its return as 'good', when asked about it.

YkItGac, another notable contestant described it as a fun new addition, and is optimistic to see how it goes. YkItGac however did express his concerns over finding good referee's and ensuring that the issue of lag did not become a problem, both of which were notably cited as the downfall of the original shire league.

Will the government pursue this? Stay tuned.

It's quite a shame that the service is inactive because it was starting to look promising for the wider Australia community.
