LNP Secures Majority Two Weeks After the Election.

The Liberal National Party have secured a Majority in Parliament

Word has just come in to the ANN that the Liberal National Party under incumbent Prime Minister Conorra has officially secured a 16th seat. This means that the party now governs in majority, whilst originally being elected into minority government. This comes from the former United Australia Member, AviatorBusicut, cedeing his seat to the LNP before leaving.

Previous to this, the UAP announced they would be rebranding to the National Party. Former UAP leader AviatorBusicut announced in the UAP server that they would be rebranding to the National Party, regardless of the fact that the current LNP composes of the merged Liberals and Nationals.

With the LNP securing its 16th seat, the composition of the house has changed dramatically. Furthermore, the Australian Greens have been placed from the crossbench to the ALP benches after the ANN has been informed about an AG-ALP coalition, which evidentally had the goal of securing the 15th seat and causing a hung parliament. The ALP have already increased their seat count by one since the election when sgt_anzac departed, leaving his seat to the party.

In other news, the electorally unsuccessful National Patriotic Party has rebranded into the Democratic Labor Party under GrandPolish, set to run in the next election. More to come as said party develops.
